How to use even less rainwater in the home
The above figure of 33% for the WC is based on the UK average of 9 litres per flush.
Government statistics estimate that on average the UK toilet uses 9 litres per flush, with many of the older, less efficient toilets using as much as 13 litres per flush. The outcome of this diabolical waste of water by inefficient toilets is that UK toilets needlessly flush away 1.2 billion litres of water a day.
You don't have to use that much water, nor do you have to go to the expense of fitting a new Dual Flush toilet!
The Interflush is a kit which fits on top of your WC siphon and connects to the front mounted flush handle.
The toilet then only flushes when the handle is held down, releasing the handle stops the flush (when pan is clear). Only uses exactly what water is needed - any less and the toilet would need flushing again. That is why nothing can flush a toilet with less water. You can then either buy a smaller rainwater harvester, or get more flushes from the larger tank. Contact us for details. |
